Privacy notice
Who we are
Takyonics is a software studio based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The legal entity responsible for this site and for the personal data described here is Takyonics FZ-LLC, licence number 45038647, registered with Government of Ras Al Khaimah. In this notice, "we" means that entity.
What we collect
Only what you type into the contact form. Your name, your email address, the name of your company if you give it, a description of what you want to build, and the timeframe you choose. We do not ask for anything else, and we do not collect anything from the form until you press Send.
Nothing from browsing. This site sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics, and does not track you across other sites. The hosting provider that serves the pages keeps ordinary server logs (the address your request came from, the page requested, the time, and the browser type) for security and to keep the site running. Those logs are not used to identify you.
Why we collect it
To reply to you, to understand the project you describe, and, if we go on to work together, to prepare a proposal and a contract. That is the only purpose. We do not use your details for marketing, and we do not add you to any list.
Where it goes
Messages from the form are delivered to our mailbox at support@takyonics.com and read by the people who run Takyonics. They are stored in that mailbox and, once a project starts, in the working documents for that project. We do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone else, except a provider that we need in order to deliver the message to us (see Third parties below).
How long we keep it
If we do not go on to work together, we delete your message within twelve months of the last time either of us wrote. If we do, we keep the correspondence for as long as the project and the records around it need to exist, and for any period the law requires afterwards.
Third parties
- Hosting. The site is served by DigitalOcean, which keeps the server logs described above.
- Email delivery. Messages sent through the form travel through [email or form provider, if any] before reaching our mailbox.
None of these providers is permitted to use your details for their own purposes on our behalf.
Your rights
Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and, where it applies to you, the data protection law of your own country, you can ask us at any time to tell you what personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it. Write to the address below and we will answer within thirty days. If you believe we have handled your data unlawfully, you may also complain to the UAE Data Office or to your local supervisory authority.
Changes
If we change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this page and the date at the top. We will not apply a change to data we already hold without telling you first.
