AI development, built into the tools you already use.
Assistants, automations and document tools on OpenAI and Anthropic models, built by one developer and wired into your website, app or internal systems.
Start a projectWhat I build
Takyonics builds AI tools, from Dubai, for businesses anywhere: software that uses a language model to do a specific job inside your existing website, app or back office. Not a chatbot bolted onto a homepage, and not a research project. A tool that removes a task someone is doing by hand today.
- Assistants. A help desk or sales assistant that answers from your own documents, products and policies, hands over to a person when it should, and never invents an answer it was not given.
- Document and data tools. Reading invoices, forms, emails, screenshots or PDFs and turning them into structured records your systems can use, with a person confirming anything that matters.
- Automations. Workflows that draft, classify, summarise, translate or route, triggered from the tools you already run, such as your CRM, inbox or admin panel.
- AI features inside products. Adding a model-powered feature to a website or app, mine or someone else's, with the model behind a server you control.
Technology
- ModelsOpenAI and Anthropic, chosen per task on accuracy, cost and speed, and swappable later because the integration is built behind your own server, never hard-wired to one vendor.
- Where it runsLaravel applications, Supabase functions, or a small service beside whatever you already have. Keys stay on the server and are never shipped to a browser or a phone.
- What it plugs intoWebsites, React Native apps, admin panels, email, spreadsheets and databases, through their APIs.
- GuardrailsValidation of every model output before it touches your data, confidence thresholds with a human fallback, and plain logging so you can see what the model was asked and what it answered.
Keeping data private
The most useful AI feature is worthless if it leaks customer data, so every build starts with what the model is allowed to see. Three rules I apply by default:
- Do the cheap work locally first. Rules and on-device processing handle the obvious cases; the model is only called when they are unsure. Fewer calls, lower cost, less data leaving your systems.
- Strip what the model does not need. Card numbers, IDs and personal details are detected and removed or blocked before a request is made.
- Use the API, not the consumer products. Both OpenAI and Anthropic state that data sent through their APIs is not used to train their models. Your privacy policy gets a plain paragraph explaining exactly what is sent and why; I write it.
Timelines
- AI feature in an existing productTwo to six weeks.
- Assistant or automation toolOne to three months, including the time to test it against your real documents and cases.
- Larger internal system with AI insideThree to six months, as with any web platform.
How a project moves
-
Brief
One conversation, over a call or in writing, to fix the destination and what done means. You get a written scope with the pages or screens, the features, the timeline and the price. Nothing is built until that is agreed.
-
Build
Working software you can open every week, on a staging address, reviewed with you on the real thing rather than on a deck. Changes to scope are discussed when they come up, not discovered at the end.
-
Launch
I put it live on hosting and accounts in your name, watch it through the first weeks, and stay on for whatever it needs next, on a maintenance agreement or as one-off work.
Who you are working with
Takyonics is a one-developer studio. I do the design, the build, the deployment and the support myself, so you deal with the person who writes the code from the first call to the last fix. Takyonics is new as a company; the work behind it is years of freelance projects for clients in the UAE and elsewhere.
That shape has honest limits, and I would rather state them than find out mid-project:
- Remote only. Everything happens over calls, messages and shared staging sites. I do not take on-site engagements or travel to client offices.
- One project at a time, usually. Timelines below assume that. If I am mid-project, I will tell you the real start date before you commit.
- Not enterprise scale. Programmes that need a team of ten, a procurement process or a resident developer are not a fit. A small or mid-sized business, a startup, a founder with a product idea, or a department that needs a tool built: that is.
Ownership, pricing and aftercare
- Who owns the codeYou do. The repository, the hosting, the domain and every third-party account are created in your name. If we part ways, you keep everything and any developer can pick it up.
- How pricing worksQuoted per project, after the brief, as a fixed figure for an agreed scope. No hourly meter. If the scope grows, the price is revised in writing before the extra work starts.
- After launchMaintenance is available: updates, security patches, small changes and monitoring, either as a monthly agreement or as one-off work when something comes up.
- Where clients areMostly the UAE, and anywhere else that works remotely. Payment in AED or USD.
Recent work
Bleed, a subscription tracker app built by Takyonics, adds a subscription from a screenshot. Text recognition runs on the phone, a check for card and bank details blocks anything sensitive before it leaves the device, an on-device parser handles the clear cases, and only when it is unsure is the text sent through a server function to an OpenAI model that returns the merchant, price and billing cycle. The user confirms every field before it is saved. It is a small feature, and it shows the whole approach: local first, strip what is sensitive, model last, person in control. Read its privacy policy to see how that is explained to users.
Questions
- Is AI the right tool for my problem?
- Sometimes not, and I will say so. A rule, a form or a well-designed database solves many problems that get pitched as AI. The brief call is where I tell you which kind of problem you have.
- Which model will you use?
- Whichever fits the task: OpenAI or Anthropic, chosen on accuracy, cost and speed for your specific job, and built so it can be swapped later without rewriting the tool.
- What does it cost to run?
- Model usage is billed by the providers per request, usually cents, and you pay them directly through accounts in your name. I design for the fewest calls possible and tell you the expected monthly figure before launch.
- Will it make things up?
- Models can. The build limits that: answers are grounded in your own documents, outputs are validated before they are used, and anything that matters gets a person's confirmation. Where a wrong answer would be costly, the tool asks instead of guessing.
- Can it work with our existing systems?
- Yes, through their APIs: websites, apps, CRMs, email, spreadsheets and databases. If a system has no API, I will tell you before quoting.
- Who owns it?
- You do: the code, the provider accounts and the data, in your name.
Tell me the task you want to stop doing by hand. You get a written scope, a fixed price and an honest answer on whether AI is the right tool for it.
